Seenons strengthens its European position through acquisitions in Denmark and Sweden

Seenons is an Amsterdam-based company that supports organisations in organising their waste streams more intelligently, transparently, and circularly. Many companies work with various waste processors and logistics partners, resulting in a lack of overview. The Seenons platform brings these parties together in a single digital system. This enables companies to better plan, monitor, and report waste streams, and allows raw materials to be reused more effectively.

The investment from Invest-NL forms part of a total funding round of €9 million, with Fortino Capital as the lead investor. With this follow-up investment, Invest-NL maintains its position as an engaged shareholder and supports Seenons in its next growth phase.

Investment enables two acquisitions

Seenons is using the investment for the acquisitions of Junkbusters from Denmark and Svensk Avfallsrådgivning from Sweden. Junkbusters operates in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, and brings strong expertise in construction and packaging waste. Svensk Avfallsrådgivning adds in-depth knowledge of commercial waste management in the Swedish market. Together, these companies strengthen Seonons’ position in Northern Europe and provide better access to Germany, a market where Junkbusters is already active.

Seenons aims to develop into a pan-European platform for circular waste management. In a market that remains highly local and fragmented, acquisitions enable faster access to customers, local networks, and operational knowledge. With this, Seenons takes an important step from a Benelux player to a European platform.

Greater scale accelerates circular waste management
