External financing of heat storage systems in small-scale district heating networks

Following the recently published report “Advice on structuring small-scale heat networks”, Invest-NL, in collaboration with IN.Credible, has analyzed in greater detail what the developer should focus on when applying for external financing for heat storage systems in small-scale heat networks.

The report answers the following questions:

Functions within the heat network

What do financiers want to know about my proposal?
How does a bank view the financing of my heat network?
How do we collaborate along the chain?

This enables developers to take a further step in realising the necessary acceleration in the roll-out of small-scale heat networks.
