European support to make projects financeable

Invest-NL is the InvestEU Advisory partner of the InvestEU Advisory Hub. Through this, we support promising projects that are not yet financeable but are essential for societal transitions in the Netherlands. This demonstrates how European capital helps to get innovation off the ground.

Below is an overview of the projects supported by the InvestEU Advisory Hub:

New framework on European regulations for Novel Foods

Innovative foods – such as new plant-based proteins, fermented ingredients or cultured meat – are crucial for a sustainable food system. To bring these innovations to market responsibly, Europe has a licensing system: the novel food regulation.

To provide investors and entrepreneurs with more clarity and guidance, Invest-NL, Forward Food Law and GFI Europe have developed the Novel Food Investor Framework.

Deep Dive presents the European AI landscape

Europe has a strong starting position to play a leading role in the next generation of artificial intelligence. This next phase focuses on applications in the real economy, where Europe benefits from high-quality data, in-depth domain expertise, and a solid industrial base.

This is demonstrated by the report Deep Dive: Strategic Investing in Europe’s Nextgen AI. The report provides a good foundation for better understanding the European AI value chain, identifying where Europe can build sustainable competitive advantage, and supporting investment decisions that accelerate the scaling of AI technologies across Europe.

New insights help healthcare regions to work data-driven

To better organise and finance prevention in the healthcare and welfare sector, regions need to collaborate more closely based on shared insights. Invest-NL translates lessons from practice into a useful framework for regional data infrastructures.

By making these issues concrete and consolidating them into practical lessons and advice, Invest-NL helps regions lay the foundation for data-driven collaboration. This gives regions more support to share data responsibly, organise cooperation, and make prevention more financially sustainable.
