Invest-NL and SMF present the Guidebook SME Financing, a tool for non-bank financiers to attract capital from institutional investors.

Access to financing is essential to help SMEs grow. However, international comparisons show that entrepreneurs in the Netherlands less frequently obtain funding through banks compared to their colleagues abroad. This means that the growth potential of SMEs remains unutilised. Non-bank financiers are ready to finance more SMEs but are themselves relatively young companies also seeking more capital to invest.
