Financing of innovative solar PV concepts

The rapid growth of solar energy is partly made possible by the financibility of the projects. Installations on roofs can be financed through funds and banks that favour both the predictable income streams and the technical reliability of solar PV. Innovative solar PV concepts such as building-integrated solar energy are often part of the building, and thus part of the real estate. Technologically a good solution, but from a financing perspective a barrier. Invest-NL, together with Volgroen, has developed a solution based on three innovative solar PV concepts that can make these installations financed. Following the report prepared in this context, the Business Development team has now started a project in which this solution is applied.
