Sif

Invest-NL participates in an investment of € 328 million in Sif, a Dutch company specializing in offshore foundations, to strengthen Sif's position as a leading supplier of foundations for the energy transition. The investment is made to build the world's largest monopile foundation factory in Rotterdam.

The factory will be built on the 62-hectare Maasvlakte 2 site in Rotterdam, as an expansion of the existing Sif facilities. Construction is expected to commence in April 2023, with the first production activities scheduled for the second half of 2024.
