LeydenJar's technology results in batteries with 70% more energy storage than the best  batteries currently available on the market. This means an electric vehicle can travel significantly further before needing to recharge. The battery is also suitable for fast charging, so you'll be back on the road within a quarter of an hour. Additionally, smartphones will need to be charged less often, and in the future, airplanes could fly electrically.

A distinguishing byproduct is that the manufacturing process of these batteries is also much more sustainable than that of ‘ordinary’ li-ion (rechargeable) batteries, releasing up to 85% less CO2.
