Invest-NL invests € 10 million in the imec.xpand II fund. The fund invests in ambitious deep tech startups that significantly benefit from the knowledge, expertise, network, and/or infrastructure of the Leuven-based electronics research centre Imec during the development of their innovative, technological roadmap. All portfolio companies of imec.xpand are deeply rooted in unique technology that gives them a global competitive advantage in the fields in which they operate.

Through this investment, Invest-NL supports the growth of deep tech start-ups in a risky phase in the Netherlands.
