Eyeo is developing a technology that makes image sensors up to three times more sensitive to light. This could mean a revolution for, among others, smartphones and security cameras. The Deep Tech Fund of Invest-NL is investing € 5 million to help scale this innovation in the Netherlands. The investment is part of a total seed round of € 15 million, led by imec.xpand and Invest-NL, together with HTGF, Bom, and Qbic. The capital will be used to develop an evaluation kit, scale up production processes, and expand commercial collaborations to bring the technology to market.
