Delft Advanced Biofuels (DAB)

DAB – Delft Advanced Biorenewables B.V. – develops, utilizes, and sells advanced fermentation technology. This spin-out from TU Delft has developed the groundbreaking FAST platform: Fermentation Accelerated by Separation Technology. With this fermentation technology, fermentation and separation can take place in a single vessel. DAB's mission is to make biobased chemicals (based on fermentation) competitive with fossil-based chemicals in terms of properties and cost. The patented FAST technology reduces production costs by 20-50+%. The funding enables a significant expansion of laboratory facilities and scientific personnel. Through this investment, Invest-NL contributes to the development of a circular economy.
