Invest-NL is investing alongside international partners in Asperitas, a Dutch scale-up developing innovative cooling systems for data centers. Thanks to this investment, Asperitas can scale internationally and contribute to a more sustainable digital infrastructure.

Asperitas offers a sustainable, innovative solution: immersion cooling. Servers are submerged in a specially biodegradable fluid that directly and efficiently removes heat. Thanks to this closed system, Asperitas’s cooling systems do not use water or harmful cooling agents. Data centers can deliver more computing power in less space, with significantly lower energy consumption and reductions of up to several tens of percent in CO₂ emissions.
